About Dr. Gomez

Dr. César Gómez earned his Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Puerto Rico. He subsequently earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. After completing two years of General Surgery residency at the same institution, he moved to Texas to pursue dedicated training in hair restoration.

Dr. Gómez completed a postgraduate fellowship in hair restoration surgery established and accredited by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), the leading organization dedicated to the advancement of hair restoration surgery. During his fellowship, he trained under the mentorship of highly regarded physicians recognized by the ISHRS, developing a strong foundation in the surgical principles and techniques of modern hair restoration.

With more than ten years of experience in hair transplantation, Dr. Gómez is the founder of Hair Transplant of Puerto Rico, established in 2018. Throughout his career, he has treated patients from Puerto Rico and across the United States, with a focus on creating natural-looking results while pursuing the best balance between hair coverage and density for each individual patient. Having lived in Orlando during part of his early life, Dr. Gómez has maintained longstanding ties to the city and its community. With a growing number of patients traveling from Florida to Puerto Rico for their procedures, the decision to establish a location in Orlando came naturally, allowing him to be closer to his Florida patients while also serving patients from across the United States.
